Trouble in Paradise
I watched you sleep through your bedroom window before I snuck into your room
to find some kind of truth. Digging out and digging in, open up so I can read
between the lines for the truth you can't deny. Promises don't mean a thing anymore,
anymore, anymore. Oh no, did I see something I wasn't supposed to see? While you
lied and tried to sleep. Oh yeah, maybe this is what you've always wanted from
me, yeah yeah, yeah yeah. Through closed eyes, I feel your stare, bright blue
eyes that could turn my heart to stone and fracture all my bones. But I'll let
you rest in peace, keep on suffering from the same disease that kept you out of
reach. I counted seconds while you slept, I left the light on when I left to let
you know I know how you feel. I don't want you anymore because you don't need
me anymore. <<back
